Portfolio of Works

These are more intimate paintings, up close and personal and in full sheet (22"x30") watercolors.  Some are what I consider outdoor still life.

Every market is an orgy of color!  Of course, flower markets are beautiful, but so aren't vegetable markets.  And, yes, flea markets, too!

These are my more experimental works in mixed media.  They are all full size sheets, 22"x30" image size.  Each painting requires several layers of application and a long time to complete.  Because they are mixed media, they do not reproduce well and I am not able to offer giclees of these at this time.  Also, commissions are accepted.  Commissions require several photos that I can work from but I often have to take them myself.  Also, I need to interview the subject so that I can include more personal subject matter in the painting.

These paintings are of special places mostly along the east coast, most of which are painted in plein air.  They may be in watercolors, but sometimes I will paint in pastels depending on the weather and the amount of time I have.  This painting was done behind Monet's home in Giverny.

These paintings are simply everyday scenes that give me great pleasure and must be painted.  Carousels are often in that repertoire.
